The last alternating 16ths groove in the Rock section of the book. I played a simplified version of the main groove and soloed over the third time through the form.

The drum set I am playing is a 1967 Ludwig Super Classic 13/16/22. Snare drum is a PDP Concept Maple Black Wax (14x5.5). 13" Zildjian K Hats, 18" Paiste Giant Beat (with Meinl's Cymbal Bacon) on my left, 21" Istanbul Agop Mel Lewis Ride on my right.

I used eight microphones.
Two Warm Audio WA251s as Recorder Man style overheads, a Shure Beta 52a just outside the BD port hole, a Neumann TLM102 about 2.5 inches in front of the BD resonant head, a Shure SM7B on the snare drum, a Shure SM81 on the hi-hat, a Shure SM57 on the rack tom, and a Shure SM58 on the floor tom.
