Meet Project: EXETER — a battlefield architect designed for total suppression.
In this video, I break down the full MIDS Reborn build for this Trick Arrow / Arsenal Control Controller, a character built to transform combat spaces into layered kill zones where enemies are slowed, blinded, trapped, and dismantled piece by piece.
🧩 Concept & Identity
Project: EXETER is not a frontline brawler or a burst finisher. He is a tactical controller — deploying overlapping fields, clouds, and traps to dictate where enemies can move, act, and survive. Once the battlefield is shaped, the enemies don’t escape it.
🛠 Power Choices & Synergy
• Trick Arrow provides long-range, high-impact debuffs: blinds, immobilizes, slows, defense and resistance shredding, and area denial through Glue, Flash, Acid, Disruption, and Oil Slick Arrows.
• Arsenal Control layers on top of those debuffs with AoE sleep, holds, stuns, confuse, knockback, and patch-based suppression — turning weakened enemies into helpless targets.
• The control pet anchors fights by drawing aggro and absorbing punishment while EXETER sets the field.
📈 Enhancement Slotting & Key Numbers
We examine slotting choices focused on:
• Control duration and uptime
• Recharge pacing for layered suppression
• Endurance efficiency in prolonged engagements
• Pet survivability and battlefield presence
• Personal defense and stealth to stay alive while orchestrating chaos
🔥 Solo Test – Level 50 x7
After the build walkthrough, I take Project: EXETER into a live solo run against Level 50 x7 enemies to demonstrate how this controller operates without backup.
Watch how he:
• Locks entire spawns in place before they can respond
• Stacks -speed, -recharge, -to-hit, and control effects until enemies collapse
• Uses pets and patches to absorb pressure while staying mobile
• Wins through attrition, positioning, and denial — not raw damage
This build isn’t about flashy numbers — it’s about removing the enemy’s ability to fight back.
If you’re interested in high-skill control play, trap-based battlefield dominance, or seeing how far Trick Arrow can be pushed when paired with a true control set, Project: EXETER delivers.
