DW5XL did Cao Cao so dirty. They gave his moveset some decent tools to work with and so much potential, only to nerf those same tools with the smallest details possible.

Strengths:
Decent freezer with C5 in a crowd, and C6 when dueling
C1 Fire orb as a crowd is approaching lets him flinch them
Decent square string with mostly horizontal strikes, no verticals and no pokes

Weaknesses:
C5 has juuuust the right amount of pre-charge delay to make it unsafe against a big crowd
C6 has the roughly the same amount of delay, but also leaves his right side completely open
Normal musou's ending is very unsafe against a blocking officer, or multiple officers at once, OR if you miss the second-to-last hit and the juggled enemy lands on the ground only to stand back up AS you've just finished the musou.
Musou hitbox has lags that fail to register damage against a frozen enemy, making you waste at least one hit per musou
Even during Rage, he has EXTREME limitations against multiple officers at once, and is one of the very few characters in this game to be this vulnerable during Rage.

It pains me so much to do this because Cao Cao is hands down my favorite character in this time period, both in the Novel and in history, but he's a lower mid tier.
