Video shows storm damage outside Movie World as theme parks announce Boxing Day closures

Footage filmed by a driver on Entertainment Road on the Gold Coast shows trees and branches strewn across the nature strip outside Movie World.

The theme park – along with Wet'n'Wild, Dreamworld and WhiteWater World – was forced to close on Boxing Day to deal with the aftermath of a storm that ripped through south-east Queensland on Christmas night and Boxing Day.
