BENCH :- The Part Of The Overburden Or Coal Seam Worked By Independent Means Of fragmentation, loading or transportation.

#Mining Veins

WIDTH:- It Is Horizontal Distance Between The Crest Point And Toe.

HEIGHT:- It is the vertical distance between the foot / toe and crest of the bench.

FACE:-It is the surface area along the height of the bench for its full length.

CREST:-The upper side of a face of a bench is known as crest line and the various point on this line is known as crest point of

the bench.

TOE/FOOT :- The lower side of a face of bench along its length is known as toe line and the various points on this line is known as toe.
