Holiday travelers sound off about gas prices in Iowa

With millions of drivers already hitting the roads for the holidays, some are facing some sticker shock while filling up their tanks.

The average price of gasoline in Iowa went up 11.4 cents in the past week, putting the average at $2.78 a gallon according to Gasbuddy.com.

It's actually five cents lower than what we saw a year ago, but still a pretty noticeable jump for drivers heading out for the holidays.
