Clive Clarke - Stoke City

Описание к видео Clive Clarke - Stoke City

Clive Clarke goals - 1998 - 2005

Clarke came through the ranks at Stoke at the same time as fellow Irishman James O'Connor. Both emerged during the 1999/00 season with Clarke taking over the left back slot from Bryan Small. He was part of Stoke's 2002 Division Two play-off winning team and continued as our first choice left-back in the First Division before converting to a central midfielder in 2004. Eventually sold to West Ham United in the summer of 2005 before moving on to Sunderland. While on loan at Leicester City in 2007 he suffered a cardiac arrest in a game away at Nottingham Forest which sadly bought an end to his playing career. After retiring from football he later became an agent.
