MP Iqra Choudhary Slams UP Government Over Law & Order In '75 Years Of India’s Constitution' Debate
In a powerful address during a special discussion on the 75th anniversary of the adoption of India’s Constitution, Samajwadi Party MP Iqra Choudhary sharply criticized the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government for its failure to maintain law and order. Speaking passionately, the Kairana MP said, “Law and order has been shattered in Uttar Pradesh. The government is turning a blind eye to it, and minorities are being targeted.”

Choudhary expressed concern over the rising incidents of violence, particularly mob lynchings, and accused the government of inciting hate and division. “The government is actually provoking people, fueling the flames of hate and violence, especially mob lynchings,” she claimed.

In addition, the MP took aim at the state’s controversial bulldozer action, calling it a symptom of the government's disregard for justice. Choudhary also voiced her worries about the increasing attacks on minorities in neighboring Bangladesh, calling for urgent attention to the rising threats.

The speech drew attention to what Choudhary described as the state's ongoing neglect of its duty to protect citizens, particularly minorities, and sparked a fresh debate on law and order in Uttar Pradesh.
