Cab Ride Bratislava - Brno (Slovak Republic & Czech Republic) train driver's view 4K

Описание к видео Cab Ride Bratislava - Brno (Slovak Republic & Czech Republic) train driver's view 4K

In this video you can enjoy the cab ride - train driver's view on the Railway Journey through Slovakia & the Czech Republic from Bratislava to Brno along Devínska Nová Ves-Skalica na Slovensku railway line, Břeclav-Kúty railway line, and Břeclav-Brno railway line in 4K/60 frames per second.

Experience an extraordinary railway journey along the Devínska Nová Ves–Skalica na Slovensku railway line, a key route in Slovakia running at the foot of the Little Carpathians and through the scenic valleys of the Danube and Morava rivers. This historic line has been a vital part of regional and international travel since 1921, forming the backbone of the connection between Bratislava and Prague.

Starting in Devínska Nová Ves, where the railway dates back to 1848 as part of the Vienna-Bratislava route, we travel along the Devínska Nová Ves-Kúty line, which has been modernized over the years to become an efficient double-track main line. Originally built by the Hungarian State Railway in 1891 and electrified in 1967, this section now forms part of the Pan-European Transport Corridor.

As we pass through Kúty and cross the Czech border near Břeclav, the route takes us along the Břeclav-Kúty and Břeclav-Brno railway lines, both double-tracked and electrified, providing a smooth and efficient connection between Prague and Bratislava. These railways, originally part of the historic Kaiser Ferdinands-Nordbahn (KFNB), are now key components of Pan-European Transport Corridor IV.

Looking toward the future, the Devínska Nová Ves-Kúty line is undergoing major upgrades to increase train speeds from 140 km/h to 200 km/h by 2030. This will significantly reduce travel times between Prague and Budapest, cutting journey times by up to 35 minutes. The renewal of the line is divided into three stages: Devínska Nová Ves-Malacky, Malacky-Kúty, and Kúty-state border.

Join us on this scenic journey as we explore a railway rich in history and vital for connecting the capitals of Slovakia, Czechia, and beyond, all while enjoying the stunning landscapes of Central Europe.
