Around the famous Kiyomizu-dera Temple, there are historic houses and Alleys such as Yasaka Pagoda, Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka Slopes, which is the area to go if you are looking for nostalgic and dreamy scenery of Kyoto.
These two slopes are approach to the famous Kiyomizudera Temple and also one of the main attraction of the city for the beautiful scenery. The area is crowded during the daytime, but very quiet from midnight to early morning. Enjoy the snowy scene of Kyoto.
