Shadow the Rescue Mum Enjoys a Swim, a Play and a Bone in the Playground for Christmas Eve

It’s been a tough road for Shadow, from the neglect and abuse she’s been used to from humans, a pregnant mother literally tied up and left to die.

It’s Christmas Eve and we wanted Shadow to feel a bit of the joy of Christmas with some freedom in the big open playground, a swim in the dam and a meaty bone, in the hope she might feel some peace and happiness and let a little of the stress go.

Shadow really enjoyed her day. We were just as happy to see her happy, probably more! On this Christmas Eve, I hope seeing Shadow drop a few of her worries and enjoy a play brings you all some Christmas joy too.

We’re not sure if Shadow has ever played after a ball, gone for a swim, felt sand beneath her paws, eaten a fresh meaty bone or been held and talked to with love. We do know, she loved it though. So much more of this to come Shadow.
