Welsh group Tŷ Gwydr performing Rhyw Ddydd recorded circa 1989/1990. Video features historic moments and people such as the release of Mandela, the Velvet Revolution with Dubcek and Vaclav Havel, Saunders Lewis, Gwynfor Evans,Berlin Wall etc. The video also highlights the struggle for the Welsh language with old clips of Tryweryn (Capel Celyn) and various clips of Cymdeithas yr Iaith Cymraeg over the years.Background audio I believe is extracts from Saunders Lewis radio broadcast in 1962, Tynged yr Iaith, which led to the formation of Cymdeithas yr Iaith Cymraeg and a revival in the Welsh language.
