How to Install a 90 Degree Cylinder in a Mortise Lock

How to Install and Remove a 90 Degree Euro Profile Cylinder in a Mortise Lock: This video explains how to install and remove a lock cylinder. The cylinder has a cam that, in the default setting, only spins 90 degrees. The benefit to this is that a homeowner can tell just by looking at the thumbturn, whether or not the door is locked by the position of the thumbturn. But these locks can be tricky to install if you don't know how to get the cam to spin 360 degrees so you can install it. Watch the video to see how simple it is.

Note: If you get stuck in the process of installation or removal, use the ring-wrench again to spin the cam until you can either get the cylinder out of the door or get it into a locking position so you can start the process over.
