In this episode we explore 1st and 3rd party BASIC interpreters that were not built into 8-bit computer ROMs. These interpreters often featured additional commands and speed enhancements that were not available with the built in BASICs. We put Extended BASIC on the TI99 and Turbo Basic XL on the Atari 800XL to the test! Which will come out ahead?

Also, as the final entry in this video series we tally and review the final results. Which BASIC is fastest?
