I'm not a big fan of the extra ALNST songs that are released without MVs but this one had something about it's chord progression and structure that I instantly knew would be fun to arrange so here we are. Was one of the most non-stress songs I worked on so far, didn't have any difficulties with it.

Btw, I swear some sections of this remind me of Field of Hopes and Dreams & Wise Words from Deltarune OST LMAO kept throwing me off while working on it.

▪ I deviated from the original in the last chorus because it was basically repeated twice and that's 16 whole bars of the same thing. It's not distracting in the full version because of all the other instruments and vocals carrying the music but on piano? It starts sounding bland.

So for the first part I went for a softer tone to gradually build up into the 2nd repeated chorus instead of playing it strong from the get go. This is an arrangement technique I really love so I'm glad this song allowed me to use it so naturally.

▪ I couldn't hear the ending part well because the volume is fading there so I had to do some improvisation for it. I think I managed to make it sound pretty natural with the rest of the song though!

▪ For sheet music users: sorry about the constant jumping between clefs and 8vas at times, especially at the end. Had no idea how to properly write those sections 😅
