NCP chief Sharad Pawar revealed that before Maharashtra Assembly elections, two individuals claimed they could “guarantee” 160 out of 288 seats. Pawar arranged a meeting with Rahul Gandhi, but both leaders rejected the offer as against their values. Pawar clarified he does not suspect the Election Commission of wrongdoing but noted such offers appear frequently during elections. This comes after Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of electoral irregularities and calls for transparency.
