125 Anniversary Parade - Baldwin Volunteer Fire Department (Fire Truck)

The Baldwin Fire Department has been providing VOLUNTEER-based protective services to the Baldwin community with pride since 1896.

Chief Hughes is excited to welcome you all to today’s parade!
We will not only be host to the departments of the 2nd Battalion Fire District, but local departments, drill teams, juniors organizations, dignitaries, and others from around the island - over 20 participating outfits.

There will be antique fire apparatus from the Albertson, Mineola, Southampton, North Merrick, Rockville Centre, Levittown, North Bellmore, Roslyn Rescue, Floral Park, Valley Stream, Oceanside, Lynbrook, Freeport fire departments, and, of course, our very own 1951 Ahrens-Fox pumper who will lead the parade with Grand Marshal, Ex-Chief Thomas FitzSimons.

The parade kicks off at 6PM and will be viewable all along the parade route, beginning at Milburn Avenue & Eastern Boulevard, traveling north to Merrick Road, west to Grand Avenue, and north to Fire Headquarters.
