Bosch Washing Machine Maintenance Tips for Maximum Efficiency Serie 4 VarioPerfect Model.
How to clean your Bosch Washing Machine and keep it in tip top condition by performing regular maintenance. I recommend doing these maintenance jobs every 6 months to keep your Bosch Serie 4 VarioPerfect washing machine in optimal condition. If your washing machine smells it could be because it is dirty, blocked up or you haven't used a hot washing cycle for a while.
If your Bosch Washing Machine stinks it could be for a number of different reasons. In this video I will take you through all the steps to fix your stinky Washing Machine.
I'll also show you some Tips on how to prevent washing machine smells from happening.
You do not want your laundry being washed in a smelly washing machine.

1:15 Remove & clean Dispenser Drawer and inside Detergent Drawer Area. This is why many people use the Pods which go directly into the Drum to avoid the Dispensing Drawer getting mouldy and full of gunk.
5:22 Check & clean Washing Machine Drum Rubber on the inside.
5:50 Remove Bosch Washing Machine Pump Filter \ Coin Catcher to check for debris (and I did find something).
9:04 Check the Aqua inlet filter on the mains cold water feed. This will affect water flow and pressure if it is blocked. (Some models have an AquaStop filter, this one does not).
12:32 Check Drainage Hose & Drainage U Bend hoses (you may only want to do this if your Washing Machine is not draining water properly or is smelling).
15:04 Push Washing Machine back into position and adjust legs.
16:06 Run the Bosch Washing Machine Drum Cleaning cycle to keep it hygienically fresh. I am using Dr.Beckmann's Washing Machine Cleaner but there are other brands available.
