"So I just basically watched a ton of them and wrote one on spec, which means, you know, without it having anywhere to go, and then I sent it out to a bunch of people and I got my manager that way. And then he hooked me up with all the -- some of the production companies that make these Christmas movies. And then I just kind of -- it just the ball kept rolling. I think once they saw like I was passionate, I can do it in a timely manner. They want to do something different each time, but also the still the comfort of what people know. And so then I just kind of got consumed by it and I finally got to be paid to write and that was the dream all along. So that's kind of how I got into it, it wasn't even on my radar, TV movies, and then it suddenly was, and I was like, 'My God, what a great niche."
