My concept in creating this film was to have a series of textures, colors, and movements from nature that accompany the music. Because I wanted the music to remain the central focus, the musical form served as the basis for the arc of the film; as musical patterns shift so do the video clips and as we progress through musical modes the subjects of the film change. The video was shot between June - October 2011 across Arizona, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Using a laptop, projector, and foot-pedal to control the clip changes, I was able to present the film with the live performance recorded here.
