4K - Grassi Lake Hiking Challenges in Canmore, Alberta, Canada

Welcome to Grassi Lake, Canmore, Alberta, Canada, Summer of July, 2024. Grassi Lake is located near Canmore in the Southern Canadian Rocky Mountains overlooking the town of Canmore, Alberta. There is a hiking trail that will take you to the lake and the amazing views and amazing waterfalls. Generally considered a moderately challenging route.

This is a very popular spot for hiking and absolutely breathtaking views of the city and surrounding areas.

What can you do while you’re there? There are plenty of great things you can do and see such as rock climbing, gorgeous sightseeing, beautiful waterfalls, beautiful nature and wildlife (mountain goats).

It’s a 4.4 km (both way) hiking trail from the parking lot to the top, to upper Grassi Lake.
