On August 31st we decided to completely mess up our sleep schedules and railfan all night. We chose Waterloo IN as our spot on the Norfolk Southern Chicago Line. The reason being because of the many lights on the station and the crossings that provide lots of high speed horn action. We saw lots of neat things from fallen flag railcars, to A black unibrow Gevo, A phase 7 P42DC, and much more. This was an excellent trip and I recommend railfanning in Waterloo sometime.
