Kayak Camping Catawba River (Pt 1)

Come along on a 3 day kayak camping expedition on the Catawba River, NC. RK Brian, RK Greg, Iowa Matt, Dirt Dobber, Bobby Darrin and myself launch behind the Stuckey's at Old Fort, NC. The river was swollen from recent rains and none of us had made that trek before. We were trying to get all the way to Lake James to set up camp that first night...The swimmer bell was ringing! Iowa Matt battles his boat.
