This piece was composed using the ancient diatonic mode called Phrygian which is basically the same as the modern Dorian.
Please be advised that most of the piece is a mix of orchestral/epic music with elements of what could possibly be inspired by the ancient greek musical tradition.
Such elements include instruments of the specific era with a mix of modern orchestral instruments and music theory techniques.
