This piece details the story of a hero who has outlived their goodness, and has instead turned towards darker elements to sustain their eternal life. The hero has instead become a monster, feeding off of the blood of innocents to sustain his life: this is Gillis, a hero with a once great legacy, now turned into a vampire, one of the very things he swore to extinct.
