The Sci Guys: Science at Home - SE2 - EP9: Boyle's Law of Ideal Gases

Описание к видео The Sci Guys: Science at Home - SE2 - EP9: Boyle's Law of Ideal Gases

Welcome to the ninth episode of season 2 of The Sci Guys. In this episode we will be using a syringe and a balloon to explore one of the gas laws, named Boyle's Law of Gases. We will show you how the pressure and volume of an ideal gas are inversely proportional and explain why gases follow Boyle's gas law. Boyle's law specifically works on ideal gases. Examples of gases that act like ideal gases are oxygen, hydrogen and carbon dioxide. At the end of this video you will be able to demonstrate with an experiment how Boyle's law of gases works and explain how gas molecules react to changes in volume or pressure.
