Today I'm back into XDefiant, this upcoming free to play shooter by Ubisoft! I'm checking out if the open beta is good and if the game has improved since the closed beta. Also sharing my overall impressions of the game so far. The game is supposed to be released later this summer (2023), so hopefully they'll be able to improve server stability and further improvement of the netcode as well!

Talking about the XDefiant open beta, if I believe that the game has improved since I last played it in closed beta, and I also share my honest opinions regarding this free to play arcade shooter by Ubisoft!

XDefiant (formerly known as Tom Clancy's XDefiant) is a first-person shooter video game developed by Ubisoft San Francisco and published by Ubisoft. XDefiant is currently in development and is set to be released in the future on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows.

It features a variety of factions and classes, each with their own unique abilities and weapons. The game is set in a near-future version of the United States, where players engage in fast-paced, team-based multiplayer matches across a variety of maps and game modes.

The setting of the game revolves around factions called "Defiant", Wolves (from Ghost Recon), Echelon (from Splinter Cell), and the Outcasts and Cleaners (from The Division). Factions from Far Cry and Watch Dogs are also planned. Defiants are customizable with traits, abilities, devices, weapons and items. It has 6-versus-6 linear game modes (such as "Domination" and "Escort"). The game has punk visual art elements.
