UGM Dallas Homeless Shelters are stepping out in faith to help some of our most vulnerable people and protect our general population. In addition to the regular homeless that UGM Dallas feeds and shelters every night, we are answering the call to take in hundreds of additional homeless in order to prevent them from being exposed to the Coronavirus and spreading it throughout our city. We are answering the call from the Mayor and Governor offices to house these individuals 24 hours a day for up to 6 weeks. We need our communities to come together and help us fund this initiative. It will cost over $300 thousand dollars to provide shelter and food as well as extra security and medical personnel to test temperatures.
