The IMESA Model 1 ranges of multi-blade slitting equipment are the ideal slitters for companies converting a variety of materials, in sheets, plates or rolls including; heavy rubber, conveyor belting materials, foams & laminated foams, non-asbetos, cork, non-wovens & textiles, polyethelene, polyurethane, plastic films, fiberglass, graphite, foam tapes & reinforced tapes, roofing products and similar materials.
Solidly built, and designed for extreme reliability for cutting the hardest materials, this machine is available in working widths from 150mm up to 3200mm and cut successfully slit products up to 38mm in maximum thickness. There are two different slitting configurations available: 1) cutting system using a blade & counter-blade which is well suited for leather, textiles, asbestos free materials, thin foams & flexible materials in general and 2) cutting system using a 160 x 70 x 2mm & nylon roller, reinforced with counter-rollers on the top & bottom for heavy applications including rubber & thicker foam materials.
