Drawn by the mysterious White Shadow signal, Selene Vassos crashed onto the hostile planet of Atropos, her ship Helios left irreparably damaged among the dense Overgrown Ruins. Armed with little more than her suit and determination, she pressed forward into the jungle, uncovering remnants of an ancient alien civilization swallowed by time and vegetation. As she explored the crumbling structures, Selene recovered scattered Scout Logs and alien Xenoglyphs that hinted at a long-lost society and an unsettling familiarity with her own presence. Each deadly encounter only deepened the horror, as Selene discovered the corpses of versions of herself and realized that death did not free her, but instead returned her to the crash site, trapping her in an endless and nightmarish cycle. Deep within the ruins, Selene confronted Phrike, a monstrous guardian bound to the ancient structures, and after a brutal battle, she finally overcame the creature, gaining access to the path beyond. Driven by the White Shadow signal and the growing mystery surrounding Atropos, Selene continued onward, determined to uncover the truth behind the ruins, the signal, and herself.
