About AIIMS
Construction of AIIMS in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh is a challenging project being executed by National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) under the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare Govt. of India. Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited (NCC) is the contractor. This project facilitates the Dev Bhoomi Himachal with 750 - Bed Hospital (Super Speciality) and a Medical College (AIIMS) in 250 acres of terrain land which costs INR 1200Cr.
This project will create a pool of Doctors and other health workers for providing better health care facilities to the people of Dev Bhoomi, This hospital will also have affordable medicine and reliable implants for treatment (AMRIT) outlets and Jan Aushadhi Kendra, where medicine would be provided at highly discounted rates to the poor and needy.

project challenge

Work started from January 2019. NCC has engaged its expert team to maintain quality and deliver the project on time. There are 5 college buildings, 3 Academic blocks, 10 Hostels, 8 Staff Quarters, Auditorium and many other works like construction of boundary walls, retaining walls, landscaping, water tanks, pump houses, electric rooms, AIIMS Bilaspur,guard rooms etc.
NBCC and NCC were actively looking for a project monitoring solution which is both lean as well as collaborative in nature. When BOCS was presented to the officials, they immediately connected with the BOCS Project Monitoring System.
