Although you’re not going to find this recipe in any authentic Italian food cookbooks, this cream sauce is a favorite of many people in the US. Cream, butter, cheese, garlic…what’s not to like?

1 tbs butter
1 tbs olive oil
1 tbs flour
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste.
