International superstar JOEL KINNAMAN sits for an interview to discuss his recent role in the latest super cop movie, THE SILENT HOUR. Kinnaman reflects on his slew of action roles, including ROBOCOP, THE SUICIDE SQUAD and how he's chosen his recent projects.

The Silent Hour follows Frank Shaw (Kinnaman), a Boston detective who returns to duty after an injury leaves him with permanent hearing loss. Tasked with interpreting for a deaf witness to a brutal gang murder, they find themselves cornered in a soon-to-be-condemned apartment building where the killers try to eliminate her.

The film stars Kinnaman, Sandra Mae Frank, Mekhi Phifer, Michael Eklund and Mark Strong, and is directed by Brad Anderson (The Machinist).

The film is yet another great supercop movie for Kinnaman who has made a living playing these characters, and recently, with SILENT NIGHT last year, and THE SILENT HOUR this year, Kinnaman has challenged himself within the genre by creating hurdles to circumvent in order to communicate differently on screen.

Kinnaman is of course known for the massive DC comicbook films SUICIDE SQUAD and THE SUICIDE SQUAD, but has made a name for himself in television with THE KILLING, HOUSE OF CARDS, ALTERED CARBON, and FOR ALL MANKIND.

During the #interview, Kinnaman talks about what he learned from these communicational challenges, what he learned about the human spirit because of this film, and when we can expect the concluding chapter in the Silent Trilogy (that's a joke.)
