🇲🇽TEOTIHUACAN - After 6 weeks in Mexico City I finally visited the AMAZING Teotihuacan, located just an hour's drive from CDMX. This has to be one of the top Mexico City activities if you're in the area!

Check out the Avenue of the Dead, Pyramid of the Moon and Pyramid of the Sun and more. The Pyramids of Teotihuacan are spellbinding in terms of the size and scale, you will be blown away!

Teotihuacan rose to prominence in Mexico between 100-BC and 250 AD - the origins are unknown. Around the 7th Century, Teotihuacan began to decline, potentially due to agricultural or environmental issues. It was then discovered by the Aztecs, who shared common ancestry.

You can get a tour to Teotihuacan, but you can also do it by yourself (as I did). Get the bus from Gate 8 at Autobuses del Norte, this costs 52 pesos one way and takes only an hour!
