WHY ECOMI OMI ISN'T LISTED ON COINBASE, WHAT YOU CAN DO, AND WHY OMI PRICE PREDICTIONS ARE WRONG!

Why the Ecomi Omi token hasn't been listed on Coinbase and Binance, omi utilities on VeVe Collectibles, and why omi price predictions are all wrong. Summary: it's all about the omi utility and omi utility program.

In the lastest Ecomi community update AMA March 2022, Ecomi founder David Yu answered that the Omi token isn't listed because there are no omi utilities implemented for the token, therefore if OMI gets listed in those popular exchanges, it will just lead to a pump and dump, simply because new buyers will ask themselves:

Can they buy VeVe Collectibles NFTs using OMI? No.
Can they buy any NFTs using OMI? Not really, very limited selection on Immutable X.
Can they buy OMI as a store of value? Yes, but there are better options out there.
Do OMI buybacks still work? Not really, it looks like the ecomi veve team is taking this omi utility away to avoid stepping into the security territory. So we can expect that buybacks will stop and the veve team might not be able to actively buy omis to burn.

So really, if there is no use of the Omi token, then why would new buyers hold and actually use it.

What we can expect is that when the omi utilities come out, that's when the listings will happen.

OMI to NFT: this has 2 utilities, veve cash out, because you can sell NFTs for OMI, and people will then buy OMIs to buy NFTs.
OMI token Staking: this is a part of the omi utility program where we can stake omi for VeVe in app benefits.
OMI lottery or the drop raffle system: users can buy tickets with omi, which will then be burned, for a higher chance of getting the veve collectibles they want.
