LAPD 1987

I originally had this on my now-canceled LMStactical account. It was taken in the Jordan Downs Housing Projects in Southeast Los Angeles in 1987. Due to the VHS tapes having degraded, the color and sound are very poor.
This event was put together by my partner and friend Tim and I. We had local businesses donate TVs, Boom Boxes, and household items to raffle off. The high point was the basketball game between the neighborhood kids and the police from Southeast Division. Many of those young men were hardcore crips. Sadly, I can't recall who won that game but it was a great day either way.
