Super Robot Wars V (EN) - Mazinger ZERO Rebirth & Evangelion 2.0 Final Fight (Stage 39)

After ZERO is defeated, Ryoma invokes the power of Getter Rays to allow Kouji to communicate with the spirit of Mazinger/Possibility (which implies that this is the same ZERO after the conclusion of the manga). Kouji decides to resist the spirit and finally regains control of Mazinger. Jamie arrives with more Gardim forces but she picked the worst possible time to arrive as Kouji and ZERO are now truly united and ready to make the entire game a cakewalk.

Once the Tenth Angel is defeated, Shinji is able to rescue Rei. However, the team has no time to celebrate as Embryo, Leonard and Exev arrive to cause a space-time fusion of the three worlds which causes the dimensional horizon to collapse. If Shinji is aced and manages to defeat either of the Angels on this stage, a secret stage will be unlocked in the next stage.
