My first video since making my new purchase of the Mavic Air 2. On bank holiday weekend (Sunday 30th August 2020) me and my family paid a visit top Dawlish Warren and a couple other areas along the Devon South Coast (Starcross & Shaldon). As it was a sunny day, I shot some footage with my new drone!

One of the focus points in this video is the Langstone Rock in Dawlish Warren. This is a red sandstone rock that sits between Dawlish Warren and Dawlish alongside the coastal path. I decided to go up on top of it, what better place to lift off my drone from!

I shot this video in 4K and 30FPS. As for my ND filter I use ND16, this seems to work quite well with daylight sunny conditions. You might notice throughout the video a few of the scenes of the rock are upscaled to 4K from 1080p, this was because I used a quick shot on the drone and it used 1080p instead (hence the slight colour variation). I feel like I have gotten used to the Mavic Air 2 already, it's a massive upgrade and improvement over the Mini, I will however still be using the Mini for other video and photography projects in the future!

Shaldon

The village has been described as "a quaint English drinking village, with a fishing problem"; is a popular bathing place and is characterised by Georgian architecture
