How to customize a bag without cracking

1️⃣ Clean the surface: Use Angelus Leather Preparer & Deglazer for leather or faux leather. For canvas or fabric bags, clean with mild soap and water.

2️⃣ Tape off hardware + edges using painter’s tape to protect zippers, straps, and seams.

3️⃣ Use the correct Angelus products
• Angelus Leather Paint for leather/vinyl
• Angelus Paint + Angelus 2-Soft (1:1 mix) for fabric/canvas to keep the paint flexible

4️⃣ Apply thin coats of Angelus Paint, allowing each layer to dry completely to prevent cracking.

5️⃣ Heat-set fabric (required when using 2-Soft) with a heat gun or dryer-style heat.
Let leather cure naturally for long-lasting durability.
