I've been playing Avorion since it went full release to see what a lot of the astounding reviews and hype is all about. Unfortunately, Avorion has been a disappointment for me due to many bugs and performance issues I encountered. But what is the game all about? This is a quick overview of what the game plays like and a general introduction for those of you who haven't followed my gameplay videos of it and want to know about it.

There are certainly aspects of the game that will appeal to players depending on what playstyle they enjoy, but coming from the other space sandbox games I have played I cannot find Avorion enjoyable in the least. Perhaps it will be a fun game for you, but for me it has been a complete bust.
