So after getting a free Old Speckled Hen pint glass, which Greene King Brewery were giving away as a Christmas present for anyone who buys a pack of 10 440ml Old Speckled Hen cans over Christmas last year, after waiting about 2 months for my pint glass to arrive in the post, I was glad to have got the latest design of the Old Speckled Hen pint glass; I also had one of the older designs, which I bought from the Barnardo's charity shop in Boston last year as I needed an Old Speckled Hen pint glass to pour any Morland beer into, but I thought that the latest design is better, and it suits any of Greene King's range of Morland beers, except for Old Golden Hen, which has it's own pint glass. I can say that Old Speckled Hen is definitely my favourite beer.🥰
Remember lads, even though the abv content has been lowered from 5.0% to 4.8% on Greene King's original Old Speckled Hen so they can pay less on the excise duty to beat raising their sale price on the beer due to the increased production costs, don't let it put you off buying this fantastic beer.
