Part of the Central Vista Project, this transition integrates the PMO, Cabinet Secretariat, and National Security Council Secretariat into a modern, tech-enabled workspace. During the inauguration, the Prime Minister performed a puja and signed files benefiting youth, women, and farmers, emphasizing a Nagrik Devo Bhav approach to governance. The new infrastructure, including Kartavya Bhavan 1 and 2, is expected to save over ₹1,500 crore annually in rent and logistics. Key welfare initiatives announced include the PM Rahat scheme for accident victims and doubling the Lakhpati Didi target to 6 crore women. While the historic North and South Blocks will be converted into the world's largest museum, Seva Teerth represents a shift toward service-oriented administration. This move aligns with the Kartavya Path values and the government's goal of achieving a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
