This magnetic ground (grasshopper) helps welders avoid costly grounding arc. It flips up out of the way and it is spring loaded to keep pressure on the grounding tip and create a solid ground for a stable arc. Strong magnets and spring allow you to place it on the pipe in any position. It has an insulated body and comes with extra tips. There are two models currently available; the PMG-XS2 (standard model) and the PMG-XL (this one is 7.5" longer and 2" higher than the XS2 model.)
