I look at the canal restoration at Crickheath starting at bridge 85 on the Montgomery Canal walking towards the new Schoolhouse bridge 86 A great deal of work has been done this year by the Volunteers It would be amazing to see this canal open all the way to Newtown Can't see it happening in my lifetime Hopefully I'll see it reach the wash border or even Welshpool can't see it getting to Newtown anytime soon
