Following on from looking at the Preview issue, this is a 'quick' look at the first official issue of Games-X magazine, dated 3rd May, 1991.

It's a shame the mag didn't really succeed although to be fair it lasted just shy of a year so at least they gave it a fair crack of the whip. With the benefit of hindsight I just don't think gaming was mainstream enough back then to garner enough interest to make something as novel as a weekly magazine succeed - irrespective of whether it was 'only' 60 pence.
