[Tengah]: Jurong Town Hall & New Service Trunk 870

Man,the west side is really rising

On Sunday,26 November 2023, Jurong Town Hall Interchange was opened to the public.Operated by Tower Transit (as it is part of Bulim),the interchange is located along Venture Drive.JTH fetured newer facilities like newer stalls, Priority Areas and even Vanding Machines (yes,it exists).The Main area of the interchange has 2 levels,the Berth Level(where the PSO is) and the future shops level.It is also the first interchange to have 2 toilets in a single interchange as well.

The interchange is connected by Jurong East MRT Exit B with a long pathway towards the interchange,so be prepared to walk a lot 😅.

JTH also has a lot of similarities to other Interchanges like Choa Chu Kang, Sembawang (the layout),Yishun(PSO) and Woodlands (cause the Cross-border).It currently holds SBS Transit's Cross-border 160 and Tower Transit's Trunk 78 and the new 870.

Service Trunk 870, Operated by Tower Transit was also introduced on the same day.Running from Jurong Town Hall Interchange and Looping at Plantation Crescent/Tengah at the same area as where 992 loops at aswell.Just like 992,870's Short Trip service,870A was introduced aswell and ends at BLK 111, Plantation Crescent currently.It will be extended deeper into Tengah in the future along the side with 992.
