Qian noted the increasing trend of food and industry use of soy. She discussed key events impacting China’s soybean supply and use, including reform for farmers, the China-U.S. trade war, the COVID-19 pandemic and rising prices of domestic soybeans. Qian also explained the U.S. Soy advantage for this market.
