Pewter City / Iwajuku | Real Life Pokemon Location of Kanto Region (Japan)

Описание к видео Pewter City / Iwajuku | Real Life Pokemon Location of Kanto Region (Japan)

Hey guys, next on my stop is Pewter City. It is famous for Brock’s rock-type gym, and the Pewter City Museum of Science. I found that Maebashi was the general location that is north of Hakone (Viridian City). However, there was not that many redeeming features to say “Maebashi” it itself is Pewter City. Instead, I found the neighboring Midori City which contains the Archaeological Museum in Iwajuku is very similar to Pewter City. Its name (Iwajuku) even contains the word rock (Iwa) in Japanese. I think this would be a more accurate place for Pewter City. We can even catch a glimpse of Mt. Akagi, which is the inspiration for Mt. Moon to the north. It is a very peaceful town surrounded by nature, and I even ran into a wild cat. I am not sure what type of cat this is, it looks like a Tsushima Cat (although these are endangered and super-rare to find in Honshu, and the ears are supposed to be round, which these aren’t). If anyone has any ideas, please let me know in the comments below. Anyway guys, please enjoy this beautiful town. It is probably one of my favorite places that I visited so far.
