On January 2007, the British Actress Julie Andrews was honored with a prize that distinguished her career and which was presented by the Screen Actors Guild: the LIVE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD. Basically this award aims to distinguish performers and artists who accomplished an "outstanding achievement in fostering the finest ideals of the acting profession." During the ceremony that gathered the prized stars of the year, there was some special time to pay tribute to this iconic, worldwide famous star. With Julie, there were many friends and admirers and among them her husband Blake Edwards (1922-2010). Anne Hattaway and Dick Van Dyke spoke heartily of their honored colleague. A small film showed in several, well edited minutes, the route of the performer, her life and ideals. At the end, Julie spoke whole-heartedly and pointed her career and personal achievements as true gifts she embraced.
