Airbnb experience number 3! Up to North Webster in this episode to get a nice look at Dewarts Lake! Dewarts is a natural lake just south of Syracuse about 10 miles. It was originally named Wawasee, then Lingle, then finally Dewarts. Very greenish water with a lot of submergent vegetation. Pretty small lake with a surface area of about 2 miles, boat recreation fully allowed with developed housing and docks owning many "sea worthy" recreational boats... this lake can get TURBULENT from activity lol! We filmed this on a weekday in the beginning of June 2019, arriving at the lake around 1-2 pm, recreational boating did not stop until nearly 9pm with the sun setting. If conditions were reading better in terms of weather, I feel like the fishing would have been phenomenal. The boat ramp is nice and improved, a little shallow, but was still able to do this launch with my car. Hope you all enjoy the video!
